Undergraduates attending USM, William Carey University, Pearl River Community College, and Jones College are eligible to submit their work. FOR THE 2019 ISSUE WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING WORK FROM GRADUATE STUDENTS. Our interests are wide and varied. We love everything from traditional realism to experimental to magical realism. We are also interested in seeing ways in which writers use form, narrative, and language in both traditional and nontraditional ways. Flash fiction, short shorts, traditional length short stories, and everything in between are welcome.
Submit a single doc., docx., or pdf. file containing your submission. Provide your name and university email in the cover letter on Submittable. YOUR NAME SHOULD NOT APPEAR IN THE DOCUMENT ITSELF SINCE ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE READ BLIND. All work should be typed in a legible 12 pt. font, such as Times New Roman or Garamond. Prose should be double-spaced.
Submissions close March 26th 2019.
All submissions are through Submittable. Click here to submit.
